Experience
Martjie’s interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation formed from her own personal experiences with sports injuries from playing representative hockey and athletics. This led her to complete studies in both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy. Before joining Glebe Physio, Martjie has worked in hospitals, both rurally and in Sydney, treating patients in intensive care, geriatrics, neurological rehabilitation, outpatient and orthopaedic fracture clinics.
Martjie is passionate about empowering patients to take charge of their own health and reach their goals.

Martjie grew up in South Africa and is a proud Springboks supporter. She is a keen hockey player and enjoys bushwalking and camping.
