Experience

Katie’s interests in Physiotherapy formed from her experience as a senior athletic therapist for national-level varsity rugby, volleyball, and lacrosse teams in Canada. Katie then moved to Australia and she studied her Masters of Physiotherapy at University of Sydney. Before joining Glebe Physio, Katie gained valuable experience in both public and private sectors of the Australian healthcare system. This work has involved injury and pain management, post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, as well as neurological recovery after stroke or traumatic brain injury.

Since joining Glebe Physio, Katie has continued to develop her expertise in managing musculoskeletal injury and pain conditions. With her qualifications in exercise science, Katie is also highly experienced in prescribing comprehensive exercise prescription and education in biomechanics to maximise recovery. Through patient centered care, Katie believes in helping people reach their individual goals to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Getting to know Katie Bohn

Katie grew up in Canada and was a provincial level cross-country runner, soccer, and ice hockey player. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog.
